My stay here was exactly what I was looking for - peaceful, quite, and filled with nature. The picnic table, the roses, listening to birds, taking a walk in the valley. It all made me realize it has been a VERY long time since I've just sat in the backyard to enjoy a moment or two of complete relaxation. Even the planes overhead brought back wonderful memories of visiting my uncles farm in Olmsted Falls, listening to and watching planes headed to Cleveland. Room was so soothing. Will be back again. Tim and I had a great time. Very relaxing!! This is our second visit. Next time we'd like to visit in the summer when eveything is green and in full bloom. Much thanks to our daughter Karen for treating us to a stay at this lovely Inn, an expression of gratitude for our love and support especially during her years at Oberlin College. We walked the Metro Park trail behind the Inn, had dinner out at Stampers and drove through the local neighborhoods with their Holiday lights - then a most relaxing evening by the fire. Dear Gloria and Everyone at the Inn, Thank you so much for two wonderful nights at your beautiful Inn. My bridal party enjoyed their stay and we all loved the atmosphere (and the tea!). The rooms were set up so nicely! Nick really enjoyed staying here as well and is already planning a return visit. It has given us great ideas for our new home decorations! After our wedding and reception we were both so exhausted, we were out like a light when we got to our room (if not for breakfast calling us, we could have slept a few hours more!). Dear Gloria, You have given my wonderful husband and myself (who surprised me with an evening away!) a well deserved time-out! we are so busy with family, work, etc. and being re-connected with one another has become a priority in our marriage! Dear Gloria, As a devoted single African-American mother, I must say that any woman or couple must slow down in this fast paced world and enjoy the simple memorable things in life. Hi Gloria, My husband surprised me with a night's stay at your beautiful B & B, as a gift for Valentine's Day. How wonderful to be married to a man who thinks like a woman!! The room was beautiful, charming, inviting and cozy. And the yummy chocolate desserts were a wonderful surprise. (I'll start my diet on Monday.) We had a great time, and we both can't wait to come back. Ummm...I have a birthday coming up around St. Patty's Day. I'm wondering if another "gift" of staying here will be my March surprise!!
